The novel is about two fourteen-year-old boys from opposing yeshiva schools who face each other on the ball field. But it actually is a fascinating revelation of two aspects of the Jewish faith, the Hasidic and the Orthodox and their ways of life. Join us to get an appreciation of Jewish culture and learning told through the story of two boys who bridge a culture gap to form a lasting friendship.

“St. Catherine of Sienna: Mystic, Reformer and Doctor of the Church”

As part of a summer graduate course exploring Women Mystics, Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology at Seton Hall will present a one-day retreat entitled “St. Catherine of Siena: Mystic, Reformer and Doctor of the Church.” Open to the public, the day-long workshop will be led by Donna Orsuto, S.T.D., of the Institute of Spirituality of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
