2019 March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Friday, January 18, 2019

On Friday, Jan. 18, thousands of people – young and old – will once again come together in a peaceful manner to affirm the sanctity of life and protest the 1973 Roe-v-Wade Supreme Court decision that allowed abortion to be legal in all 50 states. Each year many parishes and school groups from our Archdiocese participate in the March. Their willingness to charter buses and make the trip to Washington has been a critical factor in the ability of people of faith to raise their voices strongly and clearly against this injustice. If you would like to attend the March, the Archdiocese of Newark Respect Life Office can connect you to parishes that have room on their bus. Please contact Patty Decker at 973-497-4348 or patricia.decker@rcan.org. For more information about this year’s March for Life, please go to marchforlife.org.
