PETER’S PENCE

Second Collection Next Weekend

Next week, we will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression and natural disasters. Please be generous. For more information, visit usccb.org/peters-pence.

THE “ATTENDS MASS PROGRAM” SURVEY

The “Attends Mass Program” was developed to serve the needs expressed by families of loved ones with autism who are not able to attend liturgy together. The Archdiocese of Newark is assessing how many families living with autism and other disabilities need and want to participate in such a program. The results of this survey will help us seek program funding, if need and interest are demonstrated.

We want to hear from you! Please share your experience and need in a survey: rcan.org/attends-mass-survey2019. If you have questions, please contact Anne Masters, Pastoral Ministry with Persons with Disabilities, at Anne.Masters@rcan.org or 973-497-4309.

2019 Sharing God’s Blessing Annual Appeal

The 2019 Sharing God’s Blessings Annual Appeal is well underway. We have $34,228 already pledged. This is approximately 97% of our goal of $35,241. The outpouring of support from many parishioners like you helps sustain the important ministries across the Archdiocese of Newark. These programs help to make our own parish a more vibrant place of worship. If you have yet to give, please pick up a pledge form at the back of the church or visit rcan.org/sharing. Thank you for your prayers and support!
