Feast of the Holy Family

Dear Parishioners,

Today is a partial Feast Day for us as we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Saint Joseph. We are still within the Octave of Christmas and the celebration of Christmas continues. Today we see how God kept his promises. Abraham and Sarah do indeed bring forth a son and Simeon and Anna live to see the Messiah. All these things show God's love of family and extended family. Family means different things to so many people. But the core of a family is a Mother, Father and Children. Some are blessed to have this ideal situation but others may not. Whatever your family situation is you are part of our family here at Saint Joseph's! We welcome all to be part of our family, no one is turned away! I hope and pray you feel welcome here and that you will find peace and comfort among friends and your extended family at Saint Joseph's. May God Bless you all and Saint Joseph pray for us.
