Well, we seemed to have weathered this past week’s snow storm, THANK God. Our snow removal company did a fine job of plowing the church grounds. I am also grateful for the people who came out as the snow abated, to prepare the liturgical articles for the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. A special thanks to our Parish staff as well.
February 2nd is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, which is also known as Candle Mass Day. Candles will be blessed at the principle Mass.
The Feast of Saint Blaise will take place on February 3rd. In anticipation of the Feast, throats will be blessed after every Mass this Sunday, as well as on the Feast Day itself at the regularly scheduled Masses.
I would also like to remind everyone that each Tuesday is our special day of prayer as we have Eucharistic Devotion throughout the afternoon, and culminating in Benediction and Novena. Come join us for this grace filled moment of prayer and blessing.
Have a great week!
Msgr. Anthony J. Kulig
