Last Sunday, Bishop Flesey celebrated the 11:30 mass, where I was officially installed as your Pastor. It was a beautiful liturgy. I'm very thankful to Bishop Flesey for celebrating the liturgy. I'm also thankful to the deacon, concelebrants and the master of ceremonies.
Many of you assisted in planning the celebration and I couldn't be more thankful. The church was so nicely prepared and beautiful flowers were placed around the altar. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Special thanks go out to those who prepared the programs for the liturgy, along with the binders that were used. I would also like to thank the lectors, Eucharistic ministers, altar servers and ushers for your service at the liturgy.
The Knights of Columbus were present throughout the liturgy and were a special display during the entrance. There were so many who participated in the music and it was outstanding. Thank you to the Knights and everyone who took part in the beautiful music.
I'm very thankful to the members of our organizations and the parish representatives who participated in the liturgy. My family spoke so highly of the parish and were very happy to be present. I was very thankful my family could be here and could see the community that exists.
Following the mass, a reception was held in the Parish Center. Thank you to everyone who prepared and worked at the reception. I appreciate the enjoyable celebration.
I would like to thank all of you, the parishioners of St. Joseph for welcoming me to the parish. I look forward to the years ahead as your pastor and to growing with you as a parish family.
Sincerely in Christ,
