Feb 14 Updates

There are no religious Ed. classes this weekend due to the school holiday.

Please join our Children's Army of Prayer. Each night we will say a prayer for the children of the world who don't have homes, or food or families to love them, who have been forced to flee to foreign countries because of the violence in their own. One prayer each night doesn't take a lot of time, does it?

Adult Faith Formation Opportunity:
Doors of Mercy: An 8-week journey through salvation history, from God’s merciful promises to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David, to the prophets’ call to renewal, to the fulfillment of God’s promises in Christ begins Wednesday, February 17  Learn to give and receive forgiveness, to forgive others, to forgive yourself.  This is not a bible study, there is no written homework, just sessions that will allow you to experience God’s hope, healing and loving mercy. There will be video sessions followed by table discussions. Listen to what noted Catholic speakers have to say about God, his promise and his forgiveness.

Participants say: "Experiencing Doors of Mercy forced me to think about my relationships with my wife and children, and how I can reflect God’s mercy to them more."

"As someone who doesn’t usually attend parish programs, Doors of Mercy helped me to think about things in a different light. This will lead people to salvation."

"After going through Doors of Mercy, I felt a real call to action to move forward with specific things in my life that I haven’t addressed in a long time."

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 in the school library. All are welcome.
