Registration packets for students returning to our Religious Ed. classes this fall have been sent out. If you have not received your forms, please call the Religious Ed. Office and return the forms ASAP to help us assess our need for staff and materials for the Fall.

PLEASE NOTE: To secure the reduced rate of $100 for Religious Ed. registration, you must submit your registration form by July 15. After that, the fee increases $50. You need not pay at the time of registration. Payment is due by September. Please call the office (973-429-7748) if you have any questions.

First Communion pictures are here! You may pick up your child’s photo at the Rectory during office hours.

We are always in need of good people who love the Lord and love His children. If you think you would like to join us as we walk with the children of the parish in their faith-journeys, please consider being a catechist in our program. If you can read and you can speak – you can help spread the Good News! Call 973-669-8331 for more information.

Parents of children entering First Grade who are interested in our Religious Ed. program and would like to receive information or register their child, please call the office at 973-669-8331. Please remember that the Archdiocesan policy requires two years of learning to be eligible to receive First Communion.

Children of kindergarten age are welcome to come and learn stories about Jesus through hands-on experiences and videos in a fun-filled program.

Parishioners with children in Catholic schools who wish their child to receive First Communion or Confirmation in Saint Joseph’s, please call the office for information as to how to proceed.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and children over seven) is created for those who want to become Catholics or are thinking about it and those who wish to be fully initiated in the Catholic Church (need First Communion and/or Confirmation.) If you are interested or have questions, please call 973-669-8331 for information. Each individual’s case is different and scheduling is flexible. Come on in – Christ holds the door open for you!
