Catechist meeting this Tuesday in Glover Hall at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 15, is Catechetical Sunday. Our Family Liturgies begin next week, and we will celebrate the day by commissioning our catechists at Mass as well as blessing our parents and children in a special way. Students are invited to bring their backpacks to Mass for a blessing of their school year.
Religious Education classes begin next Sunday, Sept. 15 following the 9:15 a.m. Family Liturgy. Tuesday classes begin Sept. 17. There is still time to register your child if you have not already done so. Please call the Religious Ed. office if you need more information. You may also register your children at the start of classes.
Parents of children in Catholic schools who would like their children to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation in the parish, please call the Religious Ed. office for information regarding the process.
Eighth grade students and their parents will meet Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Glover Hall at 7 p.m. for an introductory session regarding responsibilities for Confirmation candidates.
Coming Soon: Discussion session regarding Bishop Robert Barron’s Letter to a Suffering Church, written for those who are trying to understand the current sexual crises through the lenses of scripture and church history. Stay tuned for the starting date!
Coming this Fall: A new series on What Happens at Mass. Each week we will have a brief and, hopefully, informative entry in the bulletin regarding the many aspects of our most significant Catholic experience.
