Mark your calendars for our annual celebration of Mardi Gras – which translates into “Fat Tuesday” – on March 5. We start outdoors with burning last year’s palms and blessing them in preparation for Ash Wednesday services. This is followed by a dessert night (the fat in “Fat Tuesday”)! All parishioners are welcome, and you might bring your favorite sweet treat to share! In the Parish Center at 7 p.m.
Bible Study resumes Monday, Feb. 25, with the Book of Exodus, a fitting way for us to ready ourselves for our own Lenten journeys. Meetings are at 1 p.m. in Glover Hall. All are welcome.
Reservations for our Parish celebration of the feasts of St. Patrick and St. Joseph (Sunday, Mar. 17 at 1 p.m. in Parish Center) will be on sale this weekend and continue until Mar. 10. Dinner will consist of Corned Beef, Cabbage and Potatoes as well as Ziti and Meatballs with St. Joseph Day Zeppole for dessert. Meet new friends and join in the fun!
